Your goal as an EMRA leader: Establish a 1-, 5-, and 10-year vision for the Ultrasound committee. Lead an excellent nerve block extravaganza in conjunction with the simulation committee at Dallas ACEP 2020. Get all of the US Committee members involved in a monthly "Ultrasound Updates" journal entry published on EMRA's website.

What is the best advice you've ever received?
In times of stress, anger, or negative emotion, generally, ask yourself the following: Do I have any control over the cause of my suffering? If no, I must recognize I've resigned myself to fight a battle I cannot win. If yes, you've identified a useful plan of action. Do that which must be done and move on; do not become a victim to your own emotion.

What is something people don't know about you?
I have an identical twin brother who will soon be joining the ranks of emergency medicine physicians... the jig is up.

If I weren't an emergency physician, I would be: A DJ - my side hobby

Favorite life hack for night shifts: Sleep immediately after the shift, get in 7-8 hours, wake up and work out pre-shift. Night shifts bring on my wellness tbh.

Last non-textbook I read: "Meditations" by Marcus Aurelius

What's on your playlist?
Hip hop, house, bass music, and a sprinkle of anything else that sounds good
