What is the best advice you've ever received?
"Keep pressing on." - Dad
What is something people don't know about you?
The only physician I know of in my family's history was my great-great-grandpa (Dr. Sparrell Walter Woody), who ventured West in search of gold in the mid-1800s. There he started a cattle ranch in the mountains of California, in an area that was eventually named after him. I continue to cherish opportunities to head back to the good ol' family ranch in Woody, California, and proud to carry the name with me.
If I weren't an emergency physician, I would be: Chasing unicorns - my code phrase for traversing mountains, running trails, and embracing any adventure possible throughout the day.
Last non-textbook I read: "Becoming" by Michelle Obama
