Your goal as an EMRA leader: Make social emergency medicine accessible. Whether folks are looking for information on a particular issue, skills and training to get an initiative off the ground, or mentorship and community, I want to facilitate access to all of those components.
What is something people don't know about you?
During my M1 year, I won a trip to Estonia to train with the Luik triplets, the first set of triplets to ever complete in the Olympics (they ran the marathon).
If I weren't an emergency physician, I would be: An education policy wonk or a community organizer
Last non-textbook I read: "Exhalation" by Ted Chiang - collection of science fiction short stories that is so thoughtful and humanistic. 10/10 recommend!
