Get to Know EMRA Representative to ACEP Nicholas Cozzi, MD, MBA

Nicholas Cozzi, MD, MBA, of Spectrum Health/Michigan State University, has been selected as the next EMRA Representative to ACEP - advocating for the concerns and issues important to the EM trainee.

What's your first priority as an EMRA board member?
I hope to gain the trust and confidence of EMRA members, fellow board members and staff, and ACEP Board of Directors. Cultivating meaningful relationships take time, effort, and intentionality.

What is the best advice you've ever received?
Write one handwritten thank-you note each day and mail it. Repeat daily. Doctor's orders.

How do you recharge after a tough shift?
A hot fresh cup of French press coffee

What is something people don't know about you?
I lived on a Michigan apple orchard as well as an island on the Mississippi River.
