As a national leader in EM, Dr. Shaw offered guidance and reassurance during an anxiety-inducing pandemic match cycle - while facing the same challenges herself. She has served on the board of Black Girl White Coat and and is a steady, constant advocate who, at an early point in her career, has already built a reputation as "the type of leader you can only hope to come across once in a lifetime."
