As a three-year training program, we welcomed our first class in 2017 and Match new twelve residents per year. Our academic Emergency Department sees 72,000 patients a year in a state-of-the-art, 40,000 square foot ED which opened in 2012. Rush Emergency Medicine proudly serves one of the most diverse urban communities in the country.

Our objective is to train outstanding clinicians who are prepared to handle any ED environment and equip them with the skills to be efficient, capable and compassionate Emergency Physicians.
