Florida Atlantic University Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine
FAU’s Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine is one of most recent LCME accredited medical schools in the U.S. The college was launched in 2010, when it became the 134th allopathic medical school in North America. The College matriculates 64 medical students each year and has been nationally recognized for its innovative curriculum. As a community-based medical school, the college's humanistic, high touch, high tech curriculum, coupled with its partnership with three independent health systems in Palm Beach County, offers students and patients a unique experience.
At some point along the pathway to becoming a physician - or a better physician - we must pause and ask ourselves, "What am I learning from the hidden curriculum?"
