The Emergency Medicine Residency Program incorporates the facilities of Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak campus, Beaumont Hospital, Troy campus and Detroit Receiving Hospital.

  • organized as a three-year program beginning at the PGY-1 level (1,2,3)
  • treating a broad, high acuity Emergency Department population in an area encompassing large volumes of both urban and suburban patients
  • nearly 25% of visits are in the pediatric age group
  • provides an extensive critical care experience with 6 months of intensive care unit rotations
