The Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine - Scott & White Emergency Medicine Residency is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). Our three-year program offers access to 27 full-time faculty with a resident:faculty ratio of 1:5.

Scott & White Medical Center – Temple is the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin. Combined with Baylor Scott & White McLane Children's Medical Center's pediatric emergency department, our emergency departments see approximately 102,000 patients per year. Our acuity level is higher than the national average with a 30 percent admission rate.
