EMRA Medical Student Council and CORD ResidencyCAS - June Update

EMRA’s Medical Student Council continues its collaboration with the Council of Residency Directors (CORD) to support students through the transition to ResidencyCAS for the 2025–2026 application cycle!

For June updates, we’re excited to share that the ResidencyCAS portal officially opened on June 4! Applicants can now begin inputting their data and preparing their materials in advance of the upcoming submission period. Please feel free to reference the recording of EMRA’s Hangout, “ResidencyCAS: Key Information for Applicants” where the CORD APIC committee was able to walk students through the platform. Be sure to explore the platform early as you prepare to submit by September 24!

The EMRA Medical Student Council has released a brand-new article highlighting the experiences of OB/GYN applicants who participated in the ResidencyCAS pilot during the last cycle. Their feedback provides valuable insight into how the platform works and what you might expect during your own application journey. You can find the article here

As always, if you have questions about ResidencyCAS, please submit them here. Your input helps us ensure we're addressing the topics most relevant to you, our medical student members.
