As the first publicly supported medical school west of the Mississippi River, the University of Missouri School of Medicine has improved health, education and research for more than 170 years.

Today, we’re one school with two campuses. Our original campus in Columbia, Missouri, is where graduate students and first- and second-year medical students study. Third- and fourth-year medical students may complete their training in Columbia or on our clinical campus in Springfield, Missouri.
