Board of Directors

The EMRA Board of Directors is the governing body of the organization which is made up of 11 individuals who are elected by their peers while completing their residency or appointed to serve. One additional position on the Board of Directors is filled by a medical student representative. Members of the Board manage the day-to-day needs to keep the organization running smoothly. They provide direction to EMRA and serve as its policymaking body. Board of Directors members are elected by the Council and serve two to three year terms. They interact and communicate between the various other organizations, both within, and outside of the field of emergency medicine.
